Born in 1969 for the first time, I have spent a lifetime and much of the other, literally, working and entangling professionally in a guild where it is very difficult to define what one is engaged in when each challenge involves a step beyond the known. I really do not know what I'm doing, but if I had to summarize it in a few words, these would be: communicate, transmit and excite. For this I have used practically all my skills: illustrate, design, imagine, devise, create, direct, produce, write, model, compose ... and laugh. And in all this, it helps, and a lot, the attitude of learning absolutely everything and everyone around us and the ability to extract from this priceless information the exciting, the syncretic.
The freedom of jazz, flamenco with its twists and turns, the power of the Caribbean trombones, art, film, literature written with rage, a stone hidden in the grass, the talk with a friend, a chalk in the floor ... everything helps to do my job, which is none other than to thrill with intelligence, wisdom and magic.
