Biography: Rafael Pedro "Curiaqui" was born in Madrid on June 29, 1965. From a very young age he accompanied his father to the art workshop where he worked, from a very young age, filling his hands with pigments, oils and glues. At the age of 15 he became part of the staff as a draftsman for the world of cinema and theater, decorating the posters that were mounted on the main cinema facades in Madrid.

In 1988 he moved, hired by a scenography company, to Barcelona where he collaborates in interior and exterior decoration through large murals for clubs and restaurants, during those years he exhibited invoking the realism that surrounded his youth with portraits and still lifes in oil and charcoal. This time he continues to collaborate both in Madrid and Barcelona with the main production companies in the decoration and setting of various film productions.

He collaborates with foundries in decoration and patina of pieces, working together with Gerardo Rueda in painting and patina of different metal pieces for a large mural. In 2001 she began her business activity by opening a digital image creation and design company. She traveled to the United States in 2002 to visit the Warner and Disney studios together with a collaborating company learning sculptural and decorative techniques and thus collaborating in the construction of the Warner Park in Madrid.

From the first moment he combines his business activity with work in the studio, where he studies artists such as Auerbach or Nicolás de Staël who make him change his works from realism to a more creative and personal vision, although he continues to use the basic techniques of oil and painting. wood. He makes his paintings from pigment and thus "can feel the work from the ground."
