Mehedy López was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and began to write and draw at an early age, getting to paint in his maturity.
He began medical studies, which he had to leave early, devoting himself later to the study of the transverse flute. She was awarded in a story and other poetry and literature contest in Montevideo in 1966 to 68. He has lived in Venezuela since 1976, and in 1988 he created the show "Game of Art", which goes up to tell on the scene the history of music, literature and painting, alternated with a musical quintet, dance quartet and slide projection. allusive to the subject, and its characters. This show was presented and directed by Mehedy López in Venezuela until the year 2000. He played as a flutist in several ensembles of chamber music and orchestras since 1982. She is a flutist and co-producer of the Venezuelan-fusion music CD "Tan Fresco como el Agua", released in 2000.
