He lives and works in the Ebro delta, Spain, in the middle of rice fields. He started painting very shyly in 1996 when he returned to his hometown after having lived 18 years in Barcelona. In 2012, as a result of the economic crisis in Spain, he had the great gift of having free afternoons to paint.
He began to study the arts in a self-taught way with special emphasis on painting and sculpture. Between 2014 and 1016 he attended the XXX art school in Tortosa and Amposta. Later he explored figurative painting and the technique of watercolor. In 2020 he participated in WIP, an in-depth workshop for artists, taught by the RARO Madrid artistic residence. In xxx he was selected in the Perelló i Camarles painting award in Cherta. Since 2013 he has exhibited in national galleries in Tarragona, Tortota and Amposta, Spain. |
