Biography: Alejandro Barba Camarena was born in Guadajalara, Jalisco, Mexico, the 20 of August of 1981.
He began studying and practicing art from the age of ten, a boy who learned for himself with excellent skills in drawing, clay and stone sculptures.
He began working at the age of fifteen in a study of resin figures as a sculptural designer.
At the age of seventeen he became a portraitist of some families and friends.
Leaving the sculptures in the past, he became involved in oil painting and began selling his works of art, which helped him create economic self-sufficiency. Added to this, he began to teach drawing and painting to people of all ages.
In 2000 he began to study Graphic Design, but in 2003 he changed his opinion and began to study a Bachelor of Visual Arts with an orientation in painting at the University of Guadalajara. While studying, he made his own art and participated in different art exhibitions in Guadalajara, such as the Ex-Convent of Carmen in 2008 and 2009. In addition, in 2011 he held an exhibition in a Mexican restaurant called "Baraka". In addition, he participated in urban gallery collectives with renowned painters in Mexico such as Waldo Saavedra and José Fors.
Between 2006 and 2012 he worked in a school called "A dos manos" and between 2013 and 2017 in "Signs Secundaria y Bachillerato" in both as an art teacher.
In 2010 he traveled to Spain, leaving his mark through his work selling some paintings in that country.
Nowadays he continues making his own art and selling his paintings in Mexico and abroad.
