Ana Montero -1969-
My artistic inclinations were manifested from my childhood and were taking shape and concept throughout my life, configuring the unmistakably personal style that until now I have matured. I studied sculpture at the 1 School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid and Graphic Design at the School of Arts and Crafts No. 10, later moving to Asturias to take the upper course of engraving and printing techniques at the School of Art Oviedo. My concerns lead me to attend different courses, including highlighting, engraving and lithography imparted by Viña Gijón Lithography, engraving applied to ceramics at the museum Antón Candas and Monotypes at the International Center for Contemporary Engraving Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In Madrid I realized a course of sculpture imparted by Gloria Sola, presenting my sculptures and paintings in the National Theater of Havana, Cuba. The artistic plot I share by giving courses in painting and engraving highlighting works for the social and cultural work Liberbank, municipal foundation of culture and social services of the city of Gijón. |
