Josep Canals i Gual (Sant Cugat del Vallés, 1947) Llicenciat for the Faculty of Fine Arts of Barcelona.
Des dels seis inicis s'involucra actively to promote and dynamitzar cultural món. Treballà com a pedagog artístic. From the anys vuitanta, is dedicated exclusively to the tasca of gallerist and cultural promoter, standing out among d'altres activitats the creation and direction of the Biennal d'Art Contemporani Català. Between d'altres distincions, posseeix the Medal to the Cultural Mèrit of the city of Sant Cugat i es membre of the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi. Tea to differents museus and public institutions and privades i has realitzat nomroses individual exhibitions and col·lectives arreu de l'estat. |
