Biography: Marco Antonio Esquivel Contreras was born in Toluca State of Mexico on June 20, 1980.
Since he was little he showed a great inclination for art, his parents supported him and encouraged him to continue down this path since this taste was shared within the family nucleus.
Beginning his preparation in workshops taught at the Nishizawa museum, José María Velasco, Bellas Artes, Casa de Cultura and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico.
From this he participated in school competitions, his ease of expression at such a young age being attractive to teachers, where it was recommended that he continue along that line.
Later he decided to enter Normand Rockwell University for a degree in Graphic Illustration, where he was able to reaffirm his passion for art and pictorial expression; finding his style inspired by various artists such as Salvador Dalí, Rafael Cauduro, Hieronymus Bosch, Frida Kahlo, René Magritte, Giorgio de Chirico, Egon Schiele, Eduardo Naranjo... among others.
In 2000 he held a group exhibition with the university where he grew up.
At the age of nineteen, one of his dreams crystallized, his first individual exhibition, called "Awakenings", in the main patio of the municipal palace of Toluca.
The journey continues with 20 years of age when his second exhibition is mounted in the Central Library of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico called "World in Decadence."
A year later, part of his work was moved to Orizaba, Veracruz, where it is exhibited in the Gallery of the Ignacio de la Llave Theater, titled "Painters of Toluca."
He later exhibited at the Ethnographic Museum of the State of Mexico in Ixtapaluca, State of Mexico, entitled "Intro-spectare", which inspired many students in the workshops to continue down the path of art. Work for which she received recognition from the Directorate of Cultural Diffusion of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, and from the director of the Ethnographic Museum of the State of Mexico, C. Manuel Guerrero Castro. In 2013, her creativity came up with "Reconnecting", an exhibition that was mounted at the XXII Festival Internacional Quimera 2013 in Metepec, State of Mexico.
By 2014, the style and pictorial nature of his work was recognized again by the highest house of studies in the State of Mexico, giving him a space in the Casa de las Diligencias to exhibit in the collective exhibition "Youth and Constructor Art." That same year, the Faculty of Architecture and Design also opened its doors to present "Art and Culture."
"Dignity and Constructive Art" in 2016 was the exhibition mounted at the Numismatic Museum of the State of Mexico.
