Carmen Acosta begins painting in her childhood. He studied at the School of Fine Arts of San Eloy de Salamanca.
His work is extensive (more than a thousand paintings), half of them are portraits of women, in which he is specialized. He has exhibited at the Caja de Ahorros de Zamora and Salamanca, as well as at the "Mónica" and "Balcón de Europa" Hotels in Nerja (Málaga) and at the Economic Society of Friends of the Country of Cartagena. He has recently taken part in group exhibitions in Madrid and in individual exhibitions, such as: Gallery of Expo Arte de Madrid in the year 1998. CDM La Dehesa de Madrid in the year 1999.
