| Biography: | Miguel Córdoba (Remscheid, Germany, 1975) studied Hispanic Philology at the University of Malaga. He is the author of several stories such as La Cuerda (Finalist in the Terra Ignota International Fantasy Short Story Contest), The Best Trick of All Time (Special Mention in the National March Idus Contest) or Gray (First Prize ex aequo in the VI Contest of Narrative for Young Authors organized by the Government of La Rioja). He also wrote the script for the adaptation of his story La Cuerda for a short film directed by Pablo Sola, which won First Prize at the International Festival of Fantasy, Horror and Sci-Fi Cinema in Mexico. In 2015, Ediciones El Transbordador published his short story "Tinnitus" within the anthology Supermalia and his first novel titled "Ciudad de Heridas", the beginning of a dark and surreal bilogy that closes with "Los tres abismos de Damián Mustieles". He has discovered in painting a perfect complement of artistic expression. He lives in Vélez-Málaga with his wife and two children. |
