Juan Mari Navascues
impressionist figurative painter of romantic trend and cut with a very personal way to see the scenery and ease to connect with the viewer. Currently she works with mixed media, turning in his career offering a different and deeper vision of the landscape. It began in the school called Bidasoa characterized by its gray and blue with its exhibits showing the beauty of the Cantabrian coast, its interior and its peoples. His first exhibition was in Cintruénigo (Navarra). Then continuously exhibited in galleries of Hondarribia, San Sebastián and Zarautz. His first exhibition in Madrid was in the Ingres (1975) gallery where he was awarded the prize Caral. The following year he opened with great success the prestigious gallery Sokoa (Madrid 1976) in the same year the gallery Itxaso granted the award of the same name in Zaragoza.Posteriormente makes the leap to Mexico, USA, Colombia, France and Belgium where his work is appreciated, these exposures combined with other samples in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Zaragoza etc. |
