Carmen Portavella García, Sevillian painter.
She has worked as a drawing teacher since 1992 and although she has never stopped painting, until a few years ago her life has been more dedicated to family and work as a teacher. He has always expressed himself comfortably with dry techniques, such as graphite, charcoal, sanguine or pastel. Also oil, although most of his production has been acrylic and mixed techniques. In recent years, she has been more focused on watercolor, without abandoning other media such as acrylic. Over time, he has been part of some artistic groups and participated in exhibitions. He is currently part of the Association of Watercolorists of Andalusia. He does not have a particularly realistic style in painting, unless it involves other techniques such as graphite or charcoal drawing. He likes to move between abstraction, figuration and symbolism. |
