Entropy is defined as the tendency to lose order in a system, for example the universe. The universe loses energy by losing that order, but it also tends to distribute that energy evenly. That is what this work represents, small microsystems that tend to get disordered but at the same time, maintain a uniformity within the whole general system. The spirals each rotate in a different direction but they all appear intertwined with each other, tending to maintain a balance. Cold colors predominate, mainly the range of blues and purples with a touch of yellow-orange as a contrast and white to give light to the painting.
