Learn more about my work on Instagram: douglasorellanachavez My work is a search for the representation of a conscience that over time is worn out and stunned, at times the work I do will be calm and understandable, at other times it will be with a lot of movement and force in the brushstroke so much that it even seems that the canvas loses its stretch and will become watery.
The work that I present to you on this occasion is one of the results of that search that has not yet ended. The way in which I took the time to make the face and how easy it looks when finished is something that calls my attention. My work is boring since it does not try to change the world, it is not about political issues or much about social issues, rather it is a self-criticism.
