Self-taught, in my youth I attended fine arts classes at the Alcoy School of Arts and Crafts (now EASD).
Throughout my life I have been linked to the art world in an indirect way, since I have been a dealer for numerous renowned artists and also on a commercial level. I have organized both collective and individual exhibitions in galleries and art salons, and museums both in Spain and in other countries (Portugal or Japan among others). I have always transmitted my passion for painting to the artists I have worked with, until during the pandemic I began to develop my own collection, experimenting with different materials and formats. During this period I decided to end my stage as a dealer and focus on my true passion for painting and creation. I have focused my work on natural and recycled materials, trying at the same time to raise awareness on an ecological level, since, with an appropriate process, the materials that we usually get rid of can have a second life, creating unique and unrepeatable works: for this I use stones, sand, reeds, threads, wood, cardboard or paper. I use water-based paint and the canvases I work on are made of cotton. My preference is for large-format canvases, allowing me to be much more creative. |
