My artistic career began at the age of 14 when I was awarded different prizes: Youth Delegation and Savings Bank, in watercolor and drawing. In Bachiller I moved to Alicante where I started modeling studies at the Union School of Fine Arts in Alicante under the orders of the great sculptor D. Juan Martínez Matáix.
My first works as a draftsman were initially in DIANA (Advertising) and later in the Study of Commercial Technical Drawing in Iberoamericana del Embalaje. After a decade I created my own company, DIGRA (Drawings and Prints) designing for different advertising and graphic arts houses, where I spent the last 30 years until my retirement. A trip in only one direction: to find myself again with my lady, the painting. AWARDS: In 1960: First Prize Youth Competition of Yecla, Murcia, watercolor specialty. In 1961: Second Prize Youth Competition Yecla, Murcia, drawing specialty. In 1976: First Prize of Posters of Hogueras de San Juan, Alicante. In 1979: First Prize of Posters of Moors and Christians of San Vicente, Alicante. In 2017: Third Prize Watercolor, Cake and Drawing. III San Juan de Dios Contest. In 2017: Fourth Prize "Lorenzo Il Magnifico" at the Biennale Internazionale di Florence D'Arte Contemporanea. In 2017: Homage in the American Journal of the Academy of Ophthalmology "Journal of Refractive Surgery" in the Volume 33, 5 number of May of 2017. EXHIBITIONS: INDIVIDUALS: 2008 Exhibition Fierro (iron sculptures) in the Port of Alicante, Centro Panoramis. 2011 OHIM (now EUIPO, European Intellectual Property Office). 2012 Exhibition of paintings in the City of San Vicente del Raspeig. 2014 Exhibition of painting at the AAA (Association of Artists from Alicante) COLLECTIVES: 1966 - XX Exhibition of Painting Obra Sindical de Educación y Descanso. 1979 - IV Painting Competition (Villa de Pego) 2013 -Exhibition (under the AAA) in the Houses of Cultures of Benissa and Bocairent -Exhibition at the Cultural Center of Onil, Alicante. 2014 -Exposure Creating Together in the Fish Market Hall Alicante. 2015 -Exhibition La Talla y el Dibujo and 60 Alicantinos Artists at the AAA of Alicante -Exhibition at the Fernando Soria Museum Foundation; Twinning with the Association of Artists from Alicante. 2016 - Spring Room at the AAA -Classified in the X National Painting Contest, Looks, organized by the Jorge Alió Foundation, Alicante. -Exhibition in the Municipal House of Culture of Aigües, Alicante. -Exhibition (under the AAA), The Carving and Drawing, Emilio Varela Room and 50 Alicantinos Artists. 2017 -Salon of Autumn, Provincial Government of Alicante -III San Juan de Dios Contest. Third prize Watercolor, Cake and Drawing. -Classified in the exhibition ¨Luces in the shade. Homage to Josefina Manresa and the forgotten ones ", on the occasion of the Year Hernandiano de Orihuela 2017.
