Juan Burgaleta is a visual artist from Madrid who won second place in the National Rapid Painting Competition Retiro de Madrid (2010).
At the same time, he has been an actor for over 7 years, appearing in series such as El Ministerio del Tiempo or Netflix's Alba. In recent years he has worked as a director and screenwriter on award-winning experimental short films and in 2024 he has finished his first feature film: Esqueletos, a family drama that has already had two nominations at international festivals. Juan is the author of two books: A Pupila Abierta, a dark fantasy novel that she signed at the Madrid Book Fair (2024); and Manos de Plomo, a thriller set in Madrid in the 2000s, which will be released in 2025 with Bunker Books. All of Juan's paintings are for sale and can be shipped anywhere in the world. |
