| Biography: | The word art came into existence to name the possibility of coherently looking at man and the world, to reveal what is there by itself, without someone or something external to place it. The order contained in the word ars refers to looking at the thing as it is (res: thing, reality), not to the will to impose an opinion, an idea, or any dissonance coming from outside. Talent, thus, is the ability to stay alert to what is already in harmony, and inspiration is the undirected discernment of that finding. |
