Gallera Bernal (Esperanza Bernal Gallero) was born in 1975 in Rota, Cádiz.
He began his studies at the School of Arts of Jerez de la Frontera, completing them with a degree in the Faculty of Fine Arts "Santa Isabel de Hungría", University of Seville, specializing in painting, engraving and design.
Gallera Bernal handles different expression supports, whether silk screen printing on fabric (Almohadones, 2003), painting (umbilical thread, 2005), sculptures-objects (Corazas, 2008) or finally developing his work in photography (Vereda, 2012).
She has been selected and winner in different plastic arts contests. His first solo exhibition at the 2001 marks his current line of work. Since then, it is proposed to make series of portraits, very different between them, but with a common thread. His work tends to evoke and question the affective bond that unites people and links them with their environment.
