Luis Bau (Valencia, 1997)
Graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he completed his training at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo (Sicily). He is currently studying a master's degree in Cultural Management at the Open University of Catalonia. His work focuses on illustration, painting, and engraving. He has had exhibitions in Valencia, Godella, Quart de Poblet and Vila-real. His work by him is loaded with poetry, music, literature and life experiences, both personal and contextual. In 2014, he held his first group exhibition at the Godella Cultural Hall. The following year he will repeat. In 2016 he was a finalist in the contest organized by the Canson Art School Awards. In March 2018 I have held "A Fuerza de Ser" his first solo exhibition, an exhibition that breaks with his previous aesthetics. That same month I have made “Biodegradado” commissioned by Ana Tomás Miralles, a group exhibition with fellow students from the faculty. At the end of 2018, he will once again exhibit "Iberflora" collectively at the Social Center: Caixa Rural Vila-real. In June 2020, I have exhibited at La Cantina and in July at La Escuela de Ruzafa, both exhibitions organized and sponsored by Orbis Vacui (a socio-cultural diffusion organization). In 2021, he exhibits again at the House of Culture in Quart de Poblet, Bosquearte. In September of that same year I finished a mural painting for the La Purísima Concepción educational center in Quart de Poblet. |
