Born in Montánchez (Cáceres) on July 4, 1958.
From a very early age I was already attracted by my vocation to painting. I am a plastic arts artist who has practiced very different styles of interpreting this art, from figurative, abstract, impressionism, Chinese inks, pastel... and with very varied techniques such as oil, acrylic, varnish, enamel, silicone, inks , both diluted and Chinese ink, charcoal and an endless number of mixed techniques. I never paint on models, neither natural nor photographs, everything I do is completely imaginative. As I said, everything I have painted has only come from my imagination, although some of them could appear so realistic that they would seem to be made with flesh and blood models, as is the case of imaginary portraits or landscapes that have only existed in my head. I was distinguished with the prize of the first Painting Contest of the Ateneo de Cáceres in 201, endowed with €2000. I had the honor of being awarded in the one convened by the Lucio Fuerza Foundation in 2009, the last one to which I applied due to lack of interest in this type of competition and, although I had already exhibited, there were quite a few exhibitions carried out. In 2011 I was invited by the Association of the Ladies of Diplomacy to the charity event that they held annually for charity. On this occasion I participated with the donation of one of my works entitled "La Venus Rosetta", which in the auction process came out with a price of €75 and ended up raising €1550 In the year 212, I organized an exhibition at La Casa de América, in the city of Havana, with the support of the Minister of Culture of Sancti Spiritus, one of the central provinces of Cuba. Exhibition at the Norba Golf Club (Cáceres) House of Culture of the Villa de Montánchez (Cáceres) Epifanio Berger Foundation (Madrid) Paulino Caldas Foundation (Barcelona) Badajoz Athenaeum Fernando Ferreira Foundation (Merida) There are many things that remain in the pipeline, but in this brief space I can't do more. Another very important aspect of my work is color. Regardless of the style or technique used, the colors I use are of vital importance to me, both in the mixtures and in the contrast between them. This aspect has been a common denominator in all of them since my beginnings. To finish, I would say that my favorite painters are Picasso, Goya, Dalí, Bacon and, due to his great influence on contemporary art, Duchamp. Of the current ones, Ai Wei Wei, Damien Hirst, Banksy, Jeff Koons, Murakami, El Bosco, Pierre Soulages, Mark Rothko, Miquel Barceló are some of my favorites, among many others. |
