Marzio Girola Ferrari
Born in Montevideo, Oriental Republic of Uruguay the November 17 of 1962. Of Italian nationality currently residing in Spain, Malaga. Poet and plastic artist. Graduated from the School of Applied Arts, Doctor Pedro Figari, from Montevideo in the discipline of Drawing and Painting. And studied four years at the National School of Fine Arts in Montevideo from 1983. He attends the workshop of the Uruguayan painter Miguel Ángel Pareja for a year and later, for a period of a year and a half in the workshop of the artist, also Uruguayan, Dumas Oroño. Holds some exhibitions in Uruguay, alone or collectively with artists such as Obdúlio Gómez Carrasco and Alejandro Vila Callaba. In 1983 two drypoint prints were accepted to participate with honorable mention in the annual Municipal Hall of the city of Montevideo. Second prize in the Madrid writers workshop in the 2003 photographic contest for the story "The Great Party". Participation in the Latin American poetry meeting of the ABRACE 2005 group. Member of the cultural collective Antoja in 2002/2010. First prize in poetry in the coast to coast contest - Uruguay 2005 Second prize in the short narrative contest in the coast to coast contest –Uruguay 2005 His work has been read in the 2006 Montevideo poetry circle. He was invited to participate in the book by Chilean photographer Rafael Edwars giving lyrics his images and participated, also invited, in the 7th international literary meeting Solidarity among Creators of the ABRACE Group, Montevideo 2006. Authorization was requested in a commemorative act of the anniversary of the Atocha attack to read a story of mine in reference to it. She took a Language Update course with the teacher María Antonieta Dubourg in Uruguay, 2005- She taught a course on Cultural Product for the Lunar Project of the Andalusian Ministry of Innovation in Seville, 2008/2009. Artist of La Galería and attached to the direction of the Meeting of Creators and La Galería del Muelle Uno Málaga 2015. Selected to participate in the Flamenco Sentiment Exhibition in the circle of artists in the city of Ronda 04 / 2015.- |
