Milton Fabián Murillo Moreno is an artist born in Bugalagrande (Valle de Cauca - Colombia) on August 28, 1980. He alternated his university studies in Business Administration with painting at the house of culture in his native town, where his teacher was his cousin Luis Edward Cancino Moreno. In 2005, Milton Murillo moved to the city of Santiago de Cali (Valle del Cauca) to continue his studies in painting at the Popular Institute of Culture (IPC), and graduated from pictorial techniques.
Milton Fabián Murillo makes paintings in different techniques; oil, acrylic, pastel and charcoal. What the artist seeks is to feed the soul of those who observe his paintings, transporting them to other real or imaginary places and times; Since ancient times, painting has not only benefited history, remembering the past, imagining the future or shaping the present, it has also nurtured the aesthetic values of humanity. Therefore, the artist looks for these sensations and others, in those who observe them. |
