| Biography: | Nelson is an amazing self-taught plastic artist who specializes in the abstraction of various scenes and people. He was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where he made his first plastic expressions. In the late 60s, in search of adventure and inspiration, he moved to Hamburg, Germany. In the early 90s, he decided to continue his work in the US, where his art has since been seen in Florida, California, New York, Wisconsin, New Orleans, and Chicago. His paintings are very complex, they show intense emotion and shock the public. He says: "my art is the expression of my soul, feelings and life". Color contrasts fill Nelson's works with spontaneity, sensuality, and surrealism, while his composition generates frantic cries of feeling. When one observes the work of this artist, the imagination expands towards what could be the reason for fulfillment. |
