Summary of the original work
Year: 2024
I have always felt a deep connection with nature, and the Andes have been an inexhaustible source of inspiration. The majesty of its mountains, the diversity of its ecosystems and the cultural richness of its people have captivated me since I was a child. I wanted to capture in this painting the feeling of harmony and balance that is felt in these landscapes.
The color palette: The vibrant colors that predominate in the work are a tribute to the explosion of life found in the Andes. The warm tones of ochres and yellows represent the sun, the earth and vital energy, while the greens and blues evoke the freshness of rivers, lakes and vegetation.
Texture: The three-dimensional texture of the painting is intended to convey the tactile sensation of nature. The heavy brushstrokes create an uneven surface that invites the viewer to explore the work with their eyes and almost touch it. I wanted the viewer to be able to feel the roughness of the tree bark, the softness of the grass, and the solidity of the mountains.
Composition: The composition of the work is designed to create a sense of depth and perspective. The trees in the foreground lead the viewer's gaze towards the background, where a distant horizon can be seen. The light, which filters through the leaves of the trees, creates a magical and mysterious atmosphere.
Symbolism: Although at first glance this work may seem like a simple representation of a landscape, it hides a deeper meaning. Trees, for example, are symbols of life, growth and wisdom. The house represents home, community and protection. And the mountains, strength and stability.
Ultimately, "Paisaje Andino" is an invitation to connect with nature, to reflect on our place in the world and to appreciate the beauty of simplicity. I hope that this work can transmit to you, the viewers, the same emotions that I experienced when creating it.
