Paco Rojas was born in Ubrique (Cádiz), he studied in 1992 at the School of Arts and Crafts in Seville and in 1993 he entered the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada. He did the specialization of Restoration of Works of Art. After finishing the University, and Arts and Hobbies in 1999, he traveled to Barcelona, where he spent about 10 years working in the world of design, combined with painting. In 2011 he returned to Ubrique and decided to leave everything to give himself an opportunity as an artist. In 2013 he was selected to give a course with the National artist Eduardo Naranjo in Mocejón (Toledo). Since then he has not stopped working and getting awards, just in the last two years he has won more than thirty awards in outdoor painting, and this year until June he has already won 6 awards in Malaga, Granada and Cádiz.
But the most important merits achieved at the National level have been in dry or study painting, obtaining the Accésit "National Air Force Painting Award 2017" in Madrid, delivered by the former defense minister, Mrs. Maria de Cospedal and the head of the Air Force Javier Salto. Or being Selected in the 9th FIGURATIVAS CONTEST 2017 · MEAM Foundation of Arts and Artists · European Museum of Modern Art of Barcelona among more than 3000 participants from all over the world. |
