In this piece, I have captured the image of a group of geishas using acrylic paint on board. The title, "Golden Kyoto," evokes the golden era of geisha in Japanese tradition, as well as the presence of gold paint in certain parts of the work.
My intention in creating this work was to capture the essence and elegance of the geisha, as well as pay tribute to their role in Japanese culture. Choosing acrylic paint on board allowed me to experiment with textures and colors in a unique way, adding depth and vitality to the composition.
