Many painters whom I respect and admire are against explaining their works. Actually I don't do it either: I just try to convey the reasons that led me to paint a specific image among the immensity of visual stimuli we receive daily. The true triggers that make me feel at peace and temporarily stop my search for new muses, until the end of the work approaches and I feel again that I need to fill that void left by each finished painting.

The image that I have taken as a reference, makes undetectable, normalizes or merges the exceptional in a customary enclave. It seems like an authentic utopia to me, although I would be unable to classify it as erotic, just because for me it touches on many topics: it was magical for me to be able to guess the beauty of a woman whose face is hidden under a mask, to perceive that the everyday and fetishism can coexist without losing strength, and that the elegance of the classic and latex do not have to fight if together they transmit the same essence: the security of a woman who shows the world what she is like in any situation, even if she knows something unexpected.

For me this painting could be hung anywhere and nowhere at the same time. It all depends on who looks at it and knows how to see.
