The last smith of katanas.
It is a tribute to a Japanese national treasure that dedicated all his life and effort to control the technique of the heart of the katana. I was lucky to meet his family at the exhibition and they explained to me that he was one of the last real Japanese (he didn't buy food in the market, he did everything in his farm and his garden), he spent hours and hours meditating and concentrating on his passion, the art of katana.
The link to his museum is: http://www.oosumi-museum.jp/index.html
He was a great artist, and I was lucky to contemplate his formidable collection, which filled me with an inexplicable feeling and that's why I made this work in homage to him.

Therefore, I have tried to create a work where it represents the power of abstraction and concentration that he possessed, there was only him and his work, which was the fire and the heart of the katana.Description
