Biography: Palleiro Pedro, A Coruña (Galicia, Spain) 1977. Graphic artist.
With an extensive formal training, among other academic degrees, master's degree in Research in Art and Creation by the Complutense University of Madrid, graduated in Social Work from the UNED and graduate in Graphic Design from the Higher School of Art and Deseño Pablo Picasso of A Coruña , starts at 2015 the Doctorate program in Education from the Universidad Complutense. He currently lives in Madrid, where he combines his teaching and research work with his role as artist.
His career began in Madrid in the late nineties. After living several years in Eastbourne (UK), he moved to Alicante to open his own studio and art gallery. Due to family issues, returns to A Coruna where he will spend a few years before settling in Madrid.
Design passionate, curious and rigorous, use creativity as a means of communication and knowledge and new technologies considered as a valuable resource for learning and understanding of the world around us. Sensitized to the most vulnerable, it is a staunch defender of art as a mechanism for social and personal change.
In an increasingly graphic world, the image becomes the alphabet of our time. No matter where we look; visual messages are all around us, whether at school, street or on television. Image as an expression of protest and dissent is of great importance for the author, who knows the power of communication and conscious and unconscious impact that has the image.
His most recent work focuses on exploring new visual narratives and new ways of representing situations, places and people of everyday life. Through the use of color, shapes, spaces and the relationships established between the different elements of the graphic composition, the author establishes a communication channel between the viewer and the work.
