My work is a tribute to the pre-Hispanic culture, that fascinating world of great stone carvings, its codices, its glyphs and its mural paintings, in which they represent the power of the Maya and Aztec empire.
I was born on March 6, 1964 in Mexico City, I took sculpture classes at the "La Esmeralda" school of painting and sculpture in Mexico City later working with such masters as Francisco Zuñiga, Ignacio and Victor Hugo Castañeda, Fidencio Castillo and Rafael Guerrero. |
