I have been dedicated to painting for more than 20 for years. Until recently my painting has had a clearly figurative appearance. I love the urban and human landscape, telling stories, portraying everyday characters of our day to day. I have painted streets, cars, people who walk or have a coffee in a bar, children playing soccer in the street ...
I am interested in art with all its genres. I love experimenting with different materials and techniques. In this search for new horizons, in recent years I have been working on sensual abstract paintings. They are a combination of vivid colors and expressive brushstrokes to create vibration, dynamism and optimism. I like to think that they are a kind of poetry without words. They are made of many layers, added layers, removed layers, gesso layers, acrylics, aerosols, ... with the aim of creating interesting and suggestive gestures, strokes, texture, color and composition. I love color and texture, and in my work I always try to use these elements to create a harmonious balance. Composition is very important to me. I am attracted to the gestural aspect of painting, the physical presence of materials. In my work the important thing is not only to look, but to feel the paintings. It is not what you see that matters, it is what you see. The work invites viewers to their own interpretations. The viewer will draw their own conclusions. It is necessary to leave room for discovery and surprise. On many occasions I seek to make discoveries for accidents and sagacity, tried to control the result.
