"blood & serum, beauty & terror" I am a Venezuelan artist, currently living in Spain In my works I work on the relationship between beauty and terror, that which is ugly and strange but comes with good intentions. Among flowers and fullness the true face of nature, hostility and hidden mystery. My career as an artist began in 2015, my works have had buyers of many different nationalities and I consider they have the same vision as me to be able to truly love my works, who at first glance dislike my paintings and come to having me in front they always tell me: 'in the world there is enough pain and bloodshed, why don't you paint something more cheerful? They misunderstand me, in my paintings there is joy and lushness but with the blood and the spirit of terror and mystery, which I express hand in hand with that, I feel that I am not a hypocrite with reality, with the parts of life that we would like to pretend not exist. In this series that I have been painting since 2015 'blood & serum, beauty & terror' I want to introduce you to the iffas and the broad spectrum behind them ... I use them to relate all those circumstances in which beauty and terror are find and being an imaginary character I feel without any kind of limits or possible implications when creating. |
