Antonio Domínguez de Haro (Almuñécar, Granada, 14 of May of 1928) is a Spanish painter. At the 16 years of age he presented his first exhibition in his land with sixty-six works expressing his interest in the underwater landscape. The exhibition received the recognition of the media.
Dominguez de Haro became a diver to be able to thoroughly investigate the seas and in this way, to be able to appreciate and capture the beauty of underwater landscapes. His work of art presents images of a dream world, beauty and poetry. It is a new world that was practically unknown to the public. It is the organic world that lies at the bottom of the seas and that Domínguez de Haro wanted to capture in his canvases. Thus, revealing the mysteries of the seas, at the same time supporting their belief in the importance of the seas for the beginning of our existence and for our current lives.
