Drawing of a common peacock also known as a blue-breasted peacock handmade with colored pencils. This drawing is special to me because I made it in honor of my grandmother since she loved these incredible animals. It took me longer to make each of her feathers, which are iconic to them, but it was worth it because I loved the final result. Use shades of green and blue, for dark parts dark green, brown and black. The long feathers of peacocks are exclusive to males and they use them to attract females and most of the time they have them down forming a long tail. I have had to see a peacock with my own eyes, loose like that in an open restaurant, they are very beautiful.
