Red Ball - Pencil and marker on white sheet 100x70cm Some time ago I read an article about the excessive use of dating applications like Tinder and the frustration it generates in many users who are looking for a serious relationship. A few days later I came across the First Dates program and reflected on what can lead people to participate in it; I even had fun placing bets.
All of this got me thinking about the red string theory and how frustrating it can be to constantly have expectations that are too high. Should it be a matter of probabilities? The more people you know, the more likely you are to find "it"? Or is it that society demands more and more? The overwhelmed expression of a date on First Dates inspired me to create "Ovillo Rojo", a drawing on a 100x70cm sheet with pencil and marker of an image that I had saved on my wish list for a long time and to which I have added my touch staff.
