Dimensions: 32,5cms x 24 cms. Aldeia Gavinha and the Alenquer area in Portugal, also known as "Saloia" or "Çaloia" region. I have been inspired to make these small acrylic paintings. Reconnect the present with the past, where time stops and moves me to the nostalgia I never experienced, through the smells, colors, gastronomy, traditions, nature and hospitality of its neighbors. Everything connects in a beautiful homeostatic harmony to create a scenario of the past in the present.
This painting was made in May of 2018. At this moment I continue doing similar work, creating outdoors in some of the cases taking advantage of the closeness of nature in me.
