the work was printed in January 2013 in Eugenio Opitz's darkroom by himself.
In order for the work to have museum characteristics, it was treated with the maximum chemical permanence process, namely: 1 developer bath, 1 stop bath, 2 separate fresh fixatives, 1 hour of washing in water, hypo clearing, hypo eliminator, bath for 30 min additional, turned in selenium 1 to 12 and washed in water for 1 additional hour.
Support dimension: 20x25 cm
Stain dimension: 16.7 x 21 cm
The image was taken on the island of Margarita in 2006. I was traveling along the road to the Macanao peninsula to explore that area of the island photographically. I stopped the car at the edge of the road because the symmetry of the erosion of the terrain caught my attention. While waiting for a cloud to stop blocking the sun, he worked on setting up the camera on the tripod, placing the roll of 120 film on it. The lens used was a Carl Zeiss Distagon 50 mm on the Hasselblad. I added a red filter on the lens to darken the blue sky, I measured the light and exposed correctly for my visualization according to the luminosity values and revealed the roll of film when returning from the trip according to previous calibration of the zone system.
