Leone, L. has studies in fine arts in the city of Turin and a long career in set design for both plays and movies. He returned to the world of painting when he fell in love with the woman who is currently his life partner. She, with her elegance and sensuality, made him return to drawing freehand, as a result of nights of portraits and stories... Years later they decided to leave everything to go live in one of the most deserted islands of the Canary Islands, where he connected new with the inspiration coming from the wild volcanic landscape and empty but full of meaning.
The pandemic began, and lived from such a silent place, it gives you the option to be able to isolate yourself from the perspective of fear and, on the contrary, embrace the chaos and perceived disconnection in society. Here begins the beginning of a long road of works on historical events reflected from a comic and daring touch... today it can be said that laughing is the most serious thing. |
