I was born in Tarifa (Cádiz - Spain) in 1962, starting self-taught in drawing and painting from a very young age.
At seventeen years of age I exhibited for the first time individually in the Exhibition Hall of the Casino Algecireño causing surprise in the press and the pictorial collective for my youth. Later I moved to Madrid, where I was living, there I carried out studies on the pictorial currents of the moment and the avant-garde trends that were produced at the time by the artist from Tarif, Guillermo Pérez Villalta. I studied in a private educational center, drawing art, humorous drawing and comics. Back in Tarifa, I did restoration work on canvases and images of the local churches of San Mateo and San Francisco, I collaborated as a draftsman in the project of the local chronicler Javier Criado "El tebeo de Tarifa" a compilation of the most historical events significant parts of the city taken to the comic book format, I was dedicated to teaching, teaching drawing at the Public Teaching Center and later painting at a private academy. At present I have fixed my residence in Padul (Granada) My current painting. It is an urban painting where I am interested in capturing the environment and the contrasts of light and shadow, bringing them to life by introducing people and cars. I always try to do it in the most spontaneous way, giving maximum importance to the imprint of the stains, regardless of details that could take away the initial freshness, it is a painting between the sketch and the finished work.
