OVERVIEW OF WORKS OF ART

The observation of the Twilights of Barquisimeto, my hometown dates from my childhood. This process is fueled much more when I start the studies of Pure Art in the School of Plastic Arts Martin Tovar and Tovar of this city. The classes of landscape were done in the open air and the professor of the subject explained everything related to the atmosphere of the surroundings of the city, which has a sky during the morning with a strong load of blues: cobalt and cerulean, among others, and already in the twilight, the beautiful twilights that at the end of the didactic work, we used to contemplate, with a great quantity of strong oranges, yellows and reds of all shades. And towards the Zenit, a dark blue almost red wine that gives the phenomenon an almost celestial beauty.
In my imagination the beautiful twilight show was printed. Then I began to recreate and paint these observations in a realistic way. After a while, I put together a fairly mature work, going on to perform twilight works, in a geometric way.
Towards the end of the 70 years, make serigrafias, watercolors, etchings, dedicating myself solely to the work with acrylic on paper, wood, MDF. This type of work in addition to being two-dimensional I have also made small sculptures in MDF, and aluminum.
Some geographical features of the city of Barquisimeto
Barquisimeto is located at 10º 07 '38' 'of Latitud Norte and 69º 32' 27 '' of Western Longitude. It is located in the Western Central Region of Venezuela. It has a temperature that oscillates between 20 and 28º, the latter between the months of February to July, therefore, the climate is tropical and the vegetation towards the west of the city is semi-arid, abundant agave and cactus as succulent shrubs. The woody: trees such as Cují, Yabo, Araguaney, among others, can reach up to 10 meters in height. During the month of January The Araguaney (emblematic tree of the city) flowers some beautiful flowers of intense yellow color. All this geographical argument of this city that is at the end of the Andes Mountain Range and seated on an alluvial terrace, has to the west a semi-arid soil, covered mostly with spines. It is possible that the rays of the sun at sunset, affect the little water vapor, the abundant dust and smoke existing in suspension in the atmosphere and the semi-desert zone can produce the beautiful phenomenon of twilight.
