Aleyda P. Olivares Ramirez
Born in Mexico City in the 80's. My education as an artist began when I was just a child. She is the daughter of the Mexican painter and engraver Reynaldo Olivares who was part of the Popular Graphics Workshop. Since I was a child I had restlessness and great passion for art, drawing and painting. She showing great interest in painting at a very early age. My academic training is mixed, self-taught for a large part of my life and of course thanks to the guidance of teachers. As a child I had the great opportunity to attend the Gráfica Popular workshop with my father. Then I started the University in Architecture. Then I took drawing and painting independently and self-taught, in order to exercise my mind and my imagination day by day. For much of my working life I worked as an illustrator, graphic and web designer, in Mexico City. I moved to Denmark where I currently reside and took up painting in a formal way. I currently do portraits. These are divided into two categories or, well, for me they are two different collections, the first, are portraits of animals, the second, portraits of people mostly soldiers. Both inspired by the feelings and emotions behind the subjects. I take the idea or what inspires me from a moment in their lives or from a random little story. |
