Alfredo Palmero is already the third generation of a lineage of artists that began with his grandfather Maestro Palmero (1901-1991), with whom he shared a name and a great fondness for painting. From the grandfather he learned the academic basis and the realistic composition to develop his own style.
His training as an artist is marked by the figure of painters such as Picasso, Klee or Velázquez rather than styles or trends. From 1991 Alfredo has not stopped making exhibitions presenting his work in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia, Brussels, London, Lisbon, Paris, Monte Carlo, Denmark, Berlin, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Miami, Panama, Hong Kong , Kuwait, Qatar, Washington or New York ... becoming an international painter. Family with more than 100 years of history in the world of painting, Alfredo Palmero has behind him two private museums in Spain, one located in the heart of La Mancha, in Almodóvar del Campo (Cd.Real) - which has a private collection of over 400 works- and the Palmero Museum headquarters in Barcelona located in a 15th century farmhouse declared a historic monument, located in the heart of the city. The works of Palmero can be found in important private collections. Starting from the academic drawing, uniting tradition and modernity, in the works of Alfredo Palmero a great artistic maturity is appreciated, fruit of the incessant work and the investigation, where the treatment of light and color stands out. |
