Born in Mexico City at 1961, in a colony of great cultural tradition founded by the artists and intellectuals of the time.
Influenced by the medium in which he has developed since childhood, the young artist has not stopped drawing since his hands were able to project their thoughts on paper. He studied drawing and painting with great masters of Mexican plastic arts such as: Lorenzo Rafael, Julio Prieto, Javier Iñiguez, Robin Bond and Antonio Salazar among others. Also studies the career of architecture in the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Scenography in the National Institute of Fine Arts, in the Academy of San Carlos realizes the masters in Visual Arts. In 1991, he is awarded the Alberto J. Pani National Architecture Prize Within his broad and now recognized career as an artist, he has explored all the possibilities of plastic through various techniques, materials, formats and styles, always stressing the aesthetic and intellectual strength in each of his strokes. The artist has created a perspective that distinguishes him, where his painting goes beyond the planes of realism to explore areas of a profound hedonistic and poetic sense, which expresses much more than men ignore or know about themselves; interpreting what we are before the insufficiency of created things where each painting tells a story that is discovered before the viewer's gaze. |
