I am not an artist to use in the sense of having a unique language of pictorial expression.
Not being able to follow a common thread has anguished me for a long time, until I understood that diversity is consubstantial with me. And if artistic expression is nothing but the expression of oneself, my painting could only be as diverse as its author so that it would be authentic, sincere. Thus, when I conceive a painting, forms, style and technique come to mind together. I research techniques that I intuit but I do not know yet. I look for each idea the best possible form of expression and work until I get it ... or even discard the painting. Therefore, my expositions, far from being versions on the same subject, are works that enclose a world in each, different from the previous one and the next. And I have seen with great satisfaction, over the years, that the public is very grateful for this fact. |
