My interest in art, especially painting, photography and all the disciplines of design has always been. I trained in Graphic Design at Escola Massana in Barcelona, a school of art and design, during the "design boom" of Barcelona in the mid-nineties. At that time I saw in graphic design the most interesting way to develop my concerns and give them a professional level exit.
I use painting, as a means to return to the origins, to recover values and ways of doing, supplemented with the sometimes abusive use of digital reproduction. I work with traditional means and techniques, combined with materials more typical of industrial use, plaster, pigments, varnishes, ... sand and other materials such as recovered printed papers, leather, etc. As a main support, I use the traditional canvas. My vehicle of expression are the textures, influenced by the nick that leaves the inevitable passage of time in nature, in architecture, in life, ... |
