Pamplona, 1978
Carlos Cenoz is inspired by his works in illustrations and graffiti, seeking social criticism through an elaborate and often ironic aesthetic, treating the problem embodied in his paintings with a double meaning and laughing at him. His works are a half-reality halfway between the real and the dream, between the classic and the contemporary. Carlos studied plastic arts and design at the School of Art in Pamplona. He has received the following AWARDS AND MENTIONS: 2002- Audiovisual Creativity Meetings Navarra 2002- Accesit Contest of the Commonwealth of Aguas de Pamplona in the Taconera Park. 2002- Second Comic Prize of the House of Youth of Pamplona. 2006- Audiovisual Creativity Meetings Navarra Has related the following exhibitions: 2000: Pamplona graffiti exhibition 2002: Utopia: A joint exhibition on urban art 2003: Recycle Gallery 2004: Recycle Gallery 2006: Freaky Show 2010: 7 deadly sins. 2013 Joint exhibition of urban art in the museum of contemporary art in Huarte. 2013-2016 Guest artist at the international graffiti exhibition CATAMAÑANAS 2013-2016. Chosen as a featured illustrator on the "creativepool" web at number 7 out of 45. 2016 Collective project and subsequent exhibition of work in the "Salt of Doubts" campaign, performing a pictorial action on a glass container, in the city of Pamplona. |
