The Concrete Art of Neox.
"I am interested in the fact", says Diebenkorn, that the different forms that painters and sculptors use, such as landscape, still life or figure, contribute very different qualities and then he adds: "but in these times there is another option: that of not representing anything, which in turn contributes many other things ". For each painting and sculpture in particular, there must be something concrete, unknown, that must be painted and sculpted, this is the work of Neox, concrete. The artist executes his work in a very special way, in his pictorial works he never uses the brush, let's say they are made with a kind of spatula, he expands the color generously through the canvas in horizontal and vertical stripes or at different angles between them, the The thickness of the different layers of color give forcefulness to the painting, it paints on large surfaces and in stripes, the result is the power of the "total" work, it is the coherence of the painting conceived as an object, the pictorial coherence of the spatial representation, total decorative coherence of abstract expressionism, in which the relationships formed on the surface reveal space. Abstract Expressionism, by encouraging improvisation, rejects the finished, the "beautiful."
