Biography:
Sandra Guerra Bianchini was born in Havana, Cuba on September 25, 1983. She studied at Juan Triana Elementary School and attended secondary school at Carlos J Finlay School and concluded 10th, 11th and 12th at the Spanish Educational College . Then he specialized in Restoration and work with the stone at the Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos Workshop School. He continued studies in Galicia at the Poio Stone School. Upon his return in Havana he worked for 6 years at the Workshop School of Havana.
He has always had inclinations for the arts in general since he had the influence of his family having a great-grandfather painter and a musician father.He discovered his passion for painting on his trip to Galicia when he held his first personal exhibition of visual arts at the Pettit Galerie from Theo. From that moment the painting caught his attention and he continued his specialization in a self-taught way. He participated in a Collective Exhibition in a´ X Feira dos callos e da Canteria de Parga, Galicia, 2004. Then he held a Collective Exhibition at the Escola de Canteiros de Pontevedra at Casa de Cultura de Poio, 2004. In Havana he participated in the Collective Exhibition Luz y Oficios Gallery ¨5mentar¨, 2012. He worked in the Collective Mural Galería Luz y Oficios, 2012. Later he participated in the Collective Exhibition in the Habana Libre at the Galería de la Diversidad, 2017. His style is characterized by the use of colors and space in a decontextualized and carefree way; playing with free perspective and esp Geometric acios.He is passionate about the abstract and impressionist pictorial style.He is inspired by the work of the German painter Ton Schulten and Paul Klee.
