Born in Madrid in 1961 in the famous Lavapiés neighborhood. Daughter of Circus Artists and as a friend says "I have art in my veins".
I am a self-taught artist, who has trained myself. My work is basically oil paintings, although I also flirt with acrylic or mixed media. My way of working or: "my source of inspiration" as I imagine all of them are other artists both painters and photographers, I create my works from them making compositions in Photoshop, other times I simply reproduce the photo in my style or the painting with my particular way of painting. My teachers are Gustav Klim whom I always admire, great comedians like Boris Vallejo, all impressionists, although this does not become my style that is more figurative. I have made several exhibitions in cultural centers and I have participated in collective exhibitions and this is what has encouraged me to continue along this path. My ambition is: "May my painting make you fall in love." |
